Science in the City, Malta’s National Science and Arts Festival, returns for its 15th edition with a vibrant two-night Street Festival at Triton Square in Valletta.
Under the 2026 theme “Research, Resist, Reimagine,” visitors can explore more than 100 stands featuring hands-on experiments, robotics, interactive games, live demonstrations, creative installations and activities that bring science and research to life.
The festival brings together scientists, researchers, artists and the public in an accessible and engaging setting, with activities covering areas such as technology, engineering, the environment, health, astronomy and the arts. A dedicated sensory-friendly space is also available for visitors looking for a calmer environment.
It is designed for families, young people and curious visitors of all ages, making it an ideal evening activity for anyone exploring Valletta.
